I've referred to this video several times over the years. TODAY, I noticed instructions for attaching the gripper fabric to the soles is shown two times. The first instructions are wrong. DO NOT APPLY GRIPPER FABRIC TO THE FABRIC. Sorry for yelling; just want that to be noticed. 😊 The second instructions is correct... apply gripper fabric to the fusible fleece. So, for the soles it's fabric, then fusible fleece fused to WRONG side of fabric, then wrong side of gripper fabric against the fusible fleece.

Could you use packaged double-fold bias tape for the hanging strings?

No wallet takes 1/2 yard of fabric. I make and sell wallets, and that's enough fabric to make 5 or 6+ wallets. No shade, I like your work.

What temps are the mitts rated for? I cook at really high temp, over 500f. None that I buy are affective enough. I haven’t been able to get an answer on this question, anywhere.

This is a great tutorial. I am going to make this wallet soon, however I do not like wallets that are flimsy. Is there a really stiff interfacing I can use, or does anyone ever cut small cardboard to give it more structure? It's just hard to tell if the wallet will be flimsy or not and I'm trying to mentally plan ahead here. Any comments or ideas appreciated! I can't wait to make this!

I just finished my first Just In Case bag. It didn’t come out as well as I hoped. My binding looks terrible. But I will still use it. Your video was helpful as the printed instructions were meh. I may make another one using different fabric choices. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry, I also noticed you are using a #3 zipper instead of the #4.5 zippers her patterns call for. Do you think the #3 works better or do you just like them better? I am always up for other ways to do things so I was curious.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I too love ByAnnie patterns. I have several. Her additional helpful videos are great. I noticed a couple things in this video though. At 7.48, when it shows the mesh pinned to the fabric and then you turn the corner over, the quilted fabric pc is actually upside down but I am sure you caught that before you sewed it. I was wondering about the seam binding pc. Annie's patterns show you to attach it to the zipper side first, then fold it over and attach it as to not create additional bulk by bending the zipper back onto itself. I notice you didn't do it this way. You attached it to the other side first. Do you find it easier that way?
